End of Key Stage Tests and Assessments

The headline data is as follows: KS1 – (2 children, each child represents 50% of the data)

All pupils (100%) met the expected standard for KS1  in Reading, Writing SPaG and Mathematics.

KS2 – (2 children, each child represents 50% of the data)

50% of pupils met the expected standard for KS2 in 2016 in Reading, Writing, SPaG and Mathematics. 50% of pupils did not meet the standard but were very close to the standard.

Blennerhasset School Progress from KS1 to KS2 for 2016 is as follows

Progress in Reading was 3.23, and a score above zero means pupils made more progress, on average, than pupils across England who got similar results at the end of key stage 1.

Progress in Mathematics was -0.16, and a score above zero means pupils made more progress, on average, than pupils across England who got similar results at the end of key stage 1.

Progress in writing was -2.23,  and a score below zero means pupils made less progress, on average, than pupils across England who got similar results at the end of key stage 1.

The majority of schools have progress scores between -5 and +5.
